Constitution
The Society
The name of the society shall be "The Milton Malsor
Historical Society"
Mission Statement
To bring together like-minded people to study
and record various aspects of village life and its environs for the
benefit of the village and it's future generations; in addition, to make
available the information acquired for others to develop material of
interest and for educational purposes.
Society Meetings
- Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in March of each year.
- Society Meetings will be held during each quarter of the year.
- Special Group Meetings will be held as frequently as required.
The time, date and venue of the Annual General
Meeting, shall be published twenty-one days in advance and all other meetings
to be agreed by general consent.
Officials
A Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary will be nominated for a period of
twelve months from the membership of the society and at the time of the AGM.
Documentation
- Finances: A record of all financial transactions will be held by the
Treasurer and will be available for examination and audited by an independent
authority.
- Society Records: A record of the Annual General and Society Meetings
will be held by the Secretary and available for examination.
Membership Subscriptions
Membership subscriptions will be determined as required by the membership
of the society.
