The name of the society shall be called “The Milton Malsor Historical Society”
To bring together like-minded people to study and record various aspects of village life and its environs for the benefit of the village and its future generations; in addition, to make available the information acquired for others to develop material of interest and for educational purposes.
- Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in March of each year. The time, date and venue of the Annual General Meeting, shall be published twenty-one days in advance.
- Society Meetings will be held on the third Thursday of every other month beginning January and an outdoor visit during June/July and there is no meeting in August, the timings to be agreed by general consent.
A Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary will be nominated for a period of twelve months from the membership of the society and at the time of the AGM.
- Finances: A record of all financial transactions will be held by the Treasurer and will be available for examination and audited by an independent authority.
- Society Records: A record of the Annual General and Society Meetings will be held by the Secretary and available for examination.
Membership subscriptions will be determined as required by the membership of the society.
